Launching the Climate Awareness Project “Youth in Climate Action”

In the city of Hadibo, the capital of the Socotra archipelago, the Climate Awareness Project Youth for Climate was launched on Sunday.
This activity is one of Solutions Foundation projects in the environment and climate sector.
Socotra archipelago was chosen to inaugurate the project due to the island’s biodiversity and because it is the Yemeni governorate most affected by climatic changes in recent years.

Mr. Omer Badokhon, the president of the foundation, gave a lecture that lasted for two hours, which was attended by young people from Socotra, as well as many local officials and specialists from the Environmental Protection Agency.
It is noteworthy that the Climate Awareness Project Youth in for Climate Action lasts for a full year and aims to reach 15,000 young students in 7 local universities distributed in 5 governorates: Hadhramout, Aden, Shabowa, Al-Mahra and Socotra.
